NDA 2018: Application Form, Exam Dates, Eligibility, Syllabus

NDA is an exam or one can say entrance to get the most respectful job in our country. The candidates who are seeking to join Defence Forces like Army, Navy and Air Force have to go through this entrance. The most important matter is this is one of those exclusive examinations which are conducted twice in a year.  I believe that I need not to mention that it is notational level entrance exam. This exam conducted by UPSC. Now I am going to discloses about this topic detail. Recently the Schedule for Paper-I & Paper-II has been released. in this article we are going discuss about

NDA Application Form 2018:

NDA 2018 application has been released on 15th January 2018. This for part 1(for NDA-I) and 2nd one will be released on 6th June 2018 (for NDA-II). The entire process will be done on online. There is no offline option for it. NDA Registration 2018 is done in two parts. In the registration part-I, candidates have to fill their personal, qualification, communication & other required details. As I mentioned the complete procedure pass through two steps now you have to go for 2nd steps of the procedure. After completing first step one would get the registration number. In the registration part-II, students have to select the exam centers and make the fee payment through online or offline mode. After completing the step that I have mentioned above you have to upload your scanned images of photograph and signature. Now you have to take the declaration printout of the filled application form and proceed for the further steps.

Application Fee:

As per mention on the Performa general and OBC cast candidate have to pay 100/-.  For the other like Sc, St, and wards of NCOs, JCOs, ORs are not required to pay any application fee. There are mainly two options available for payment i) online, ii) offline
  1. For online option one can chose any option like net banking or debit or credit card (VISA/Master/Debit Card and Net banking).
  2. For offline only one option is available. If you chose this option you have to go for e-challan of SBI Bank.

NDA Exam Pattern:

The entire exam will be conduct through offline mode that means pen and paper mode. The duration of the exam is two and half hours for both section I and section II. Negative marking is applicable for this exam. That means the marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The questions will be asked on Hindi and English. Generally there are two sections like Mathematics and General aptitude Test. NDA Exam Dates:

Eligibility Criteria:

Physical Standards:

First of all this is one of the mostly needed criteria ever. As it is a armed forced training entrance it is obvious that physical fitness will be a biggest issue. The candidate must be physically active and fit as well. There after each of the candidate have to pass medical examination conducted by the Military Hospital after being recommended at the SSB.

Qualification Criteria:

Candidate must qualify 10+2 or equivalent exam organized by the State Education Board or a University. Remember that it is only for army wings. For Air Force and Naval of NDA must qualify 10+2 exam as I mentioned before with Physics and Mathematics.


Candidates must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal, a subject of Bhutan or an Indian origin person who has migrated from Burma, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and East African Countries of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zaire, Malawi and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. A Tibetan refugee who came over to India with the intention of permanently settling in India before the 1st January 1962 is also eligible to attend this exam.

Age Limits:

Students must have born between 2nd July 1999 to 1st July 2002. Candidates should have born between 2nd January 2000 to 1st July 2003.
