SBI junior associates (JA) Recruitment 2018 : Apply for 8301 vacancies

The State Bank of India (SBI) has Release  a notification for the post of junior associates (customer support and sales) in clerical cadre. Out of the 8,301 vacancies advertised 7,200 are regular vacancies and 1,101 are backlog vacancies. The notification  Advt. No. CRPD/CR/2017-18/10. This notification can be viewed in careers’ section of the state-run bank’s website. Aspirant can apply for vacancies in only one state.

The application process start on 20th January and end this process 10th February.

The vacancy position (category wise) in each state can be viewed in the notification or at the bottom of the story.

Age limit:

Candidates applying for the job should not be below 20 years and not above 28 years as on January 1, 2018,

For General/ Unreserved Categories 20 — 28 years (As on 01.01.2018) [they should not be born before January 2, 1990, and not after January 1, 1998 (both days inclusive)]
Relaxation in Upper age limit 05 years for SC/ST candidates
03 years for OBC candidates
10 years for PWD (Gen)
15 years for PWD (SC/ST)
13 years for PWD (OBC)
05 years for Persons domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir State during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989
Other Relaxation as per govt. rules.

 

Qualification:

Aspirant must have passed graduation in any subject as on the closing dates.

You can pay application charges through online mode by using debit card/credit card/Internet Banking

Gen/OBC candidates fee ₹600  (Intimation charges include application Fee).
SC/ST/PWD/XS candidates fee ₹100 (Intimation Charges only).

Preliminary exam: March/April 2018 (tentative)

Admit card for prelims: March 1, 2018, onwards (tentative)

Admit card for main exam: April 26, 2018 (tentative)

Selection process:

Candidates will have to take an online preliminary exam and the main exam followed by the local language test.

The preliminary exam will be of one-hour duration, carrying 100 marks and divided into three sections: English language (30 marks), numerical ability (35 marks) and reasoning ability (35 marks). Candidates will get 20 minutes for each section.

The preliminary exam is of qualifying nature.

The number of candidates selected for the main exam will be approximately 10 times the number of vacancy in that category.

The two-hour main exam will carry 200 marks and will be divided into four sections: General and financial awareness (50 marks) General English (40 marks), quantitative aptitude (50 marks) and reasoning ability and computer aptitude (60 marks).

Candidates will get 35 minutes each for general and financial awareness and general English and 45 minutes each for quantitative aptitude and reasoning ability section.

Marks obtained in the main exam will only be considered for making the provisional selection list.

Candidates, who produce the necessary certificate proving they studied the specified local language, will not have to undergo the language test otherwise compulsory for others.

Next go to “Recruitment of Junior Associates” and click “Apply online”.

Then Aspirant fill in the details of Registration .

After pay the application fee aspirant submit the application Form and take a print out of Online application for future use.
